Helen P. Pudlin, Esquire

One of Pennsylvania’s most distinguished corporate attorneys, Helen P. Pudlin has spent her career guiding clients in the financial services and healthcare sectors. Now retired from active practice, she served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of The PNC Financial Services Group. During her tenure at PNC, in addition to directing the legal affairs of the corporation, she was a member of the Executive Committee, helping to develop corporate strategy and policy. Before joining PNC, she was a partner and commercial litigator in the law firm of Ballard Spahr, where she co-chaired the firm’s Health Law Group.  
Helen is currently Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Wistar Institute and a member of the Board of Trustees of The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. She sits on the Board of Overseers of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and the Board of Advisors of the University of Pennsylvania Institute for Law and Economics. She is also is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. 
Helen has received numerous honors and award for her accomplishments, including an Alumni Award of Merit from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, a Woman of Distinction award from the Legal Intelligencer, and the Pennsylvania Most Powerful and Influential Women Award from the National Diversity Council. She received a B.A., M.A. (Education) and J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
