George H. Leon, Ph.D.
George is a Senior Vice President of NAXION and a practice leader who heads up a team with primary responsibility for assignments in the Information Technology, Security, Energy, Communications, Automotive, Building Systems and Manufacturing industries. Much of his work is focused on helping clients achieve business transformation through the application of advanced marketing science and business intelligence. His assignments encompass both external market environments and internal business processes, as well as the critical interactions between the two. Recent examples include product portfolio realignment, technology development, channel alignment and employee engagement.
George is also a recognized industry expert in designing and executing large-scale market segmentation and customer satisfaction studies geared toward developing comprehensive business growth, retention and customer relationship management strategies in complex global business environments. To assist his clients in using sophisticated research to drive business action, he conducts consultative workshops and training seminars in opportunity identification, program design and marketing strategy development. He also conducts industry-wide seminars on topics such as innovative market segmentation approaches and advanced conjoint analytic techniques. As committed to implementation as he is to strategy, George has authored the NAXION guidebook, "How To Make Your Customer Satisfaction Measurement System Actionable."
Prior to joining NAXION, George taught a number of graduate and undergraduate courses in sociology, research methods and statistics. He received his B.A. from Rutgers University and received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology from Temple University.
